America Development & Investments, LLC Announces Plans for Two New Reunion Rehabilitation Hospitals in Florida
The new hospitals will provide the state with access to state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation

June 15, 2021 -- Dallas

America Development & Investments, LLC (ADI), a leading healthcare real estate developer based in Dallas, TX, and a partner in Reunion IRF, today announced plans to bring the Reunion Rehabilitation Hospitals brand to the Jacksonville and South Florida markets. The new hospitals will offer inpatient rehabilitation care for people with debilitating illnesses and injuries such as stroke and brain injury, as well as other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions.

“Our team couldn’t be more excited to bring state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation to Florida with two new Reunion Rehabilitation Hospitals,” said Jeff Jones, a partner with ADI. “Our primary goal is to offer greater access to inpatient rehabilitation to communities who need our elevated standard of care. After conducting extensive research, it was clear the Jacksonville and South Florida communities would benefit from having the inpatient rehabilitation by Reunion Rehabilitation Hospitals in these specific communities. The portfolio of Reunion Rehabilitation Hospitals is quickly growing across the country. We look forward to partnering with Reunion IRF to continue growing the footprint in Florida.”

The planned hospitals will be custom-built facilities with amenities such as large hi-tech therapy gyms, expansive dayrooms, and outdoor courtyards for patients to practice walking on various surfaces and inclines. Texas-based Nobis Rehabilitation Partners will manage each of the hospitals, which provides hospital leadership, clinicians, and support teams, including specialty-trained physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians and other specialty-trained physicians. In addition to its locations in Jacksonville and South Florida, Reunion Rehabilitation Hospitals plans to open other hospitals throughout Florida in the coming years. The Jacksonville and South Florida hospitals will bring the Reunion Rehabilitation Hospitals portfolio to ten locations built in the U.S., eight of which will be operational by 2022.
